The standout for me was the private room I stayed in; it was spacious, sparkling clean, and had an incredible view from the balcony. The staff were really helpful in organizing activities, which added to the enjoyment of my trip. do be prepared for some noise from barking dogs and music from a nearby location. it was a vibrant place, perfect for those looking to meet fellow travelers, though a little loud at times.

I recently stayed at Shalom Backpackers in McLeod Ganj for a few days and I had an amazing time. The atmosphere was chill and the vibes were perfect for a relaxing getaway. I loved meeting other like-minded travelers who were also working remotely from the mountains. The staff were incredibly supportive and helpful, especially Vishwajeet who always had a dazzling smile and made my stay even more memorable. The rooms were comfortable with a balcony, which was a great bonus for smokers. The public areas were vibrant and filled with a colorful mural on the walls. Plus, the location was central with plenty of eating options nearby.

We had a blast exploring the world of yoga and meditation at the ashrams. The instructors were so chill and guided us on a path of self-discovery and tranquility. And whoa, the thrilling activities were off the hook! River rafting was wild, navigating through those crazy rapids had our adrenaline pumping. And bungy jumping was the ultimate rush, a leap into the abyss that made our hearts race. Exploring the trails to Triund was epic, the views were to die for. And the social events at the hostel were lit too, we made new friends from all over the world. our vacation was full of adventure and good vibes!

The only thing we wished for was a better party scene for us young, party-going people. The nightlife options were a bit limited, and we were craving some beach shacks and clubs to come alive with music and dance.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the hostel's remote location and the hike required to reach it, we found that the overall experience outweighed these minor inconveniences.

During my recent business trip to McLeod Ganj, my director chose Shalom Backpackers Dharamkot Mcleodganj for our stay. One of the highlights of this hotel was the inviting swimming pool, perfect for relaxation and soaking up the McLeod Ganj sun. It provided a great opportunity to cool off and mingle with fellow travelers, creating a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Another wonderful aspect of McLeod Ganj is the wide range of Ayurvedic healing therapies and spa treatments available. These rejuvenating experiences were a must-try and added a touch of wellness to our stay.

Sadly, I have to mention one minor negative aspect of my experience at Shalom Backpackers Dharamkot Mcleodganj.
